Revision Policy

This article is provided to you for information purposes only. Please refer to our Terms of Service for the official revision policy that you agree to as a client.

A revision to a graphic design is a small change to a design to bring it into alignment with the vision of the director or to correct errors or otherwise make a small tweak to the design.

Daily Design Revision Policy

Daily Design projects are offered with free and unlimited revisions except in the circumstances noted below

Amazon Services Revision Policy

Amazon services are offered with free revisions to correct factual errors (ex. wrong size, wrong accessories). Otherwise 2 rounds of revisions are included for all other changes. Additional rounds of revisions are offered at an additional fee.

All revisions are subject to the guidance below

In All Other Cases

Please refer to the scope of work for your project.

The Scope of Work or Service Specifies Limited Revisions

If the scope of work of the service that you are purchasing specifically defines the number and scope of revisions then that agreement supersedes this policy

Inactive Subscription or Lapsed Project

If your subscription is no longer active, or if your project has been approved, cancelled or inactive for over 30 days, then the project is no longer eligible for revisions.

EXAMPLES:
The following are examples of situations where you may be charged an additional fee for revisions

1. You are a Daily Design client and your subscription has expired - your designs are no longer eligible for revisions
2. You are a Daily Design client and would like to revise a design that you approved over 30 days ago. This design is no longer eligible for revisions
3. You have an Amazon project or a custom project which was approved over 30 days ago.
4. You failed to respond to our requests for feedback and 30 days has lapsed.

Change of Scope

If your revisions would meaningfully change the scope of work for the design or the project, then additional charges may apply.

EXAMPLES:
The following are examples of situations where you may be charged an additional fee for revisions

1. You submit a Daily Design request for an Instagram post, but after delivery decided that you need it to be an Instagram carousel. Because the original scope was for one image, not 2+, this is not a revision.
2. You have a Gallery Images project and would like us to include an additional main image variation for split testing
3. You have an A+ content project and would like us to include an additional panel

Change of Direction

In situations where you provide specific design direction to us, and we create the design the way you ask us to, revisions to your design may be at an additional cost

EXAMPLES:
The following are examples of situations where you may be charged an additional fee for revisions

1. You submit a Daily Design request for a logo that includes a fox, but after seeing the fox believe that a tree would look better.
2. You ask us to make specific design changes to your Amazon project by providing stock photography that you want us to use, or in other ways take over the creative direction of the project but dislike the way your ideas turn out
3. You change the label on your product and need us to update the designs to match the new branding
4. You ask us to create a specific main image or supporting images which get rejected by Amazon

If at any time Graphic Rhythm determines that your revision requests are abusive we reserve the right to refuse the revisions or bill you for them.

It's our intent to deliver your project accurately and to create designs that exceed your expectations. Revisions are a natural and expected part of the graphic design process and our goal is to make revisions quick, painless and accurate.
